Five cushions, free of fastenings, are held within a chrome-plated or colored steel-tube cage, constituting the piece's main means of support. The geometric structural pattern is modulated after the golden section, the resulting scansion reminding us of the play of empty and occupied spaces to be found in Le Corbusier's earliest style.
