A/S Stelton was founded in 1960. The production increased considerably after a cooperation with Arne Jacobsen was established in 1964 and later on followed up by Erik Magnussen. A number of Stelton products are exhibited in The Museum of Modern Art and The Cooper-Hewitt Museum, New York; Philadelphia Museum of Art; Victoria and Albert Museum, London; Staatliches Museum fur angewandte Kunst, Munchen.
